If you or someone you know would like to run for this position, please send a self-nomination or nomination to Paula Knight by September 8, 2007. Nominations should be placed in the form of a ticket stating who would run for Region Director and Alternate Region Director. Per the Eastern Division By-Laws, the qualifications for this position are as follows: “Region Director candidates must be Active registered patrollers in the Region which they seek to represent, have a minimum of five seasons of patrolling experience, and have achieved Senior Alpine, Senior Nordic, or Certified status. The ballot for this year’s election of National Board Members has been sent out to all members. Please note that this also includes Alumni Patrollers. All members who are current with their dues and have a registration number should receive a ballot either by e-mail or by post. Please let your Regions know that Patrollers should be looking for their ballot and of course casting their votes for four Board Members. We are on the cusp of having a Board that really listens and acts in the best interest of the members. This election is going to determine whether this becomes the new Board culture or not.
