The following is a brief description of each CT Region award given annually with a link to a historical list of who has received the award in the past.

Patroller of the Year

This award is given to the Patroller in the Region that has contributed the most over the year as determined by the Region Officers and Advisors.

Director's Award

This award is given to the Patroller in the Region that has helped solve the Region Directors most significant problem(s).

Dick Gardiner Instructor of the Year

This award is given to the Patroller in the Region that has demonstrated outstanding instructor capabilities such as those that Dick Gardiner always demonstrated. Someone who knows the material and teaches it in a kind and flexible manor while still challenging their students to excel.

Young Adult Patroller of the Year

This award is given to the Young Adult  Patroller in the Region that has demonstrated overall outstanding patroller skills while maintaining a very positive attitude demonstrating an interest and capability to pursue a productive patrolling career.

Mentor of the Year

This award is given to the Patroller in the Region that has best inspired their proteges to excel in patrolling or in aspects of patrolling.

Stan Ellison Continuing Education Award

This award is given to the Patroller in the Region that has participated in the most NSP related education courses during the year.
