Amanda became a Patroller in 1988 focusing on becoming an outstanding Alpine Ski Patroller. She soon became an OEC Instructor and soon after that qualified as a Senior Alpine Patroller.
Being someone who always wants to learn more, she went on to become an Instructor Trainer and an OEC Senior Trainer Evaluator. Education and Mentorship has defined Amanda's legacy at local, Regional, and Division levels shaping generations of Patrollers. Beyond Ski Patrol Knowledge she has demonstrated confidence, leadership, and professionalism.
She has been recognized with the CT Region Director’s Award, a National Certificate of Appreciation, a Meritorious Service Award, and a National Appointment.
Ultimately Amanda was asked to take on the role of Eastern Division Assistant OEC Supervisor overseeing the activities of multiple Region OEC Administrators. The duties of this position require the attribute of being inherently people-oriented with a unique ability to recognize others’ potential and can bring out the best in people. Amanda creates an environment where Patrollers feel supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential.
