This inductee is an OEC instructor, an OEC Senior Trainer Evaluator, an OEC Instructor Trainer and an Instructor Development Instructor.  For her patrol she has been an Awards Advisor, a Social Committee member, a Banquet Co-Chair, a First Aid Advisor, a Session Leader, and a Board Member.  For the CT Region she has held the positions of Awards Advisor, Banquet Chair, Senior First Aid Advisor, Newsletter Editor, First Aid Advisor, and Region Director.  For the Eastern Division she has had the titles of Assistant OEC Supervisor, OEC Supervisor, and member of the OEC Steering Committee.  Nationally she has served as Assistant National OEC Program Director, Chair of the National OEC Test Committee, Chair of the National Senior OEC Test Committee, Chair of the National OEC Test Bank Update Committee, and Chair of the OEC Module for the Senior Program revision Committee.  Awards received by this Inductee include local mentor of the Year, local Patroller of the Year, Region Director’s Award, Region Instructor of the Year, and Region Patroller of the year.  She has been awarded the Eastern Division Donald F. Page Outstanding Administrative Patroller Award.  National Awards received include: a Meritorious Service Award, Four Yellow Merit Stars, National Appointment #7249 in 1990 and in 2016 was added to the National Hall of Fame. Over her decades of service, Paula Knight has shown that she is someone who will get a tough job done and leave everyone smiling.
